How do the Google people get so much space for Gmail?

The little storage space meter is always climbing, how do they do that?
How do the Google people get so much space for Gmail?
I don't know but it kicks asss. I love gmail.
Reply:you know those smart people at google might actually know something. why aren't you asking them? why would we know that?
Reply:Well, Google is rich. And I'm sure that even though the number climbs in real time (At a slow rate because they use very small numbers to increase it, like less than one) the space doesn't get added until later that day at a set time. Google probably started the base space lower than planned so that it would take a long time to rise. Google is just trying to offer the best Mail possible and they have.
