How do you get gmail to stop saving IM's?

everytime i IM somone on gmail it saves it...how do you get it to stop??
How do you get gmail to stop saving IM's?
next time you talk to someone, click on the bottom left corner of the chat box where it says "video and more" and click chat off the record. gmail wont save any more chats you have with that person until you or the other person disables it. its useful but unfortunatly you have to do it with all your chat buddies. oh well hoped that helped :)
Reply:Once you login to Gmail Account, Please click on Settings on top right corner of the page. Then click on Chat. In 'My Chat History', select 'Never save chat history'.





Once you select and click on Save Changes, FROM THEN ONWARDS, you chat messages will not be saved. Hope, this explains the problem.
