The instructions for downloading your Google mail to your Outlook Express and using the same program to send out e-mail through your Google account are as follows:
1. Log into your Google mail account using your web browser.
2. On the top-right corner, click on the link marked "Settings".
3. Click on the tab marked "Forwarding and POP".
4. In the section marked "POP Download", make sure that either "Enable POP for all mail (...)" or "Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on" is enabled.
5. Select from the drop down menu how you want to handle Google mail that's been downloaded through POP.
6. Click on the link marked "Configuration Instructions" for Outlook Express
7. Click on "Save Changes".
