How Can I Get A Gmail Account? Help Please?

To use Google Page Creator you need a Gmail account.


To use Google Picasa Web Albums you need a Gmail account.





To get a Gmail account you have to live outside Europe (to receive the invitation code on you mobile phone) or have a friend with a Gmail account to email you an invitation. I have neither.





One of you wants to be my friend with a Gmail account?

Gmail is the free email service provided by Google.





You do NOT need to be invited to get a Gmail account. If you have a cell phone (or have a willing friend who does), you can simply sign up using your mobile phone.





You can sign up for it at www.google.com. Click the "more%26gt;%26gt;" link above the search box ... the gmail link will appear on the right side.





After you click the Gmail link mentioned above, Click the link that says "Sign up for Gmail using your mobile phone."





You will provide the mobile phone number (note that you have an option to keep or not keep that number stored in Google -- I always opt to not store such information).





Google will simply send a short text message with your activation code to your number and you then use that to complete your login information and obtain your account.


It's that simple.
