Trying to get gmail.com account.Any easy ways to sign up?

the web sites I've looked at are complicated. I thought I was all set. Now it tells me I'm not. I DON"T want yahoo.com. I want gmail.com.

If it does not work, you can go to : http://www.google.com/ig/ , and go to Sign In. In there, you can see "Create an Account Now".
