How to get Gmail Archived/Labeled Email to Transfer to Outlook 2007?

I have Gmail and Outlook 2007. I was using Gmail first so I have lots of mail archived in labels on Gmail. I want to back up these emails onto my computer through Outlook.





Is this possible? I know you can import archived Outlook mail INTO Gmail, but I couldn't find anywhere how to import archived Gmail INTO Outlook.

ok here's what you do,


while in the outlook window click "tools" on the tool bar and the "accounts" then select the "gmail" account and on the "imap" tab put a check in the box "check for new messages in all folders" click apply%26gt;ok and should start to download new folders when it's finished the folders you have in gmail should now be visible in outlook


I now I did mine that way and I went back and turned off, didn't like the way it looked and I didn't need the other folders anyway
