How can i get a gmail?

i went to google.com and i went to create new account right. and then it asked me for my current e-mail address and i typed it in my currenty e-mail. so instead of that i want a GMAIL though. so i need help. do you know how to create a gmail?

Reply:i've done it before. as long as you have a cell phone or know someone with a cell phone then you don't need anyone to invite you. all you do is click where it says "sign up for account". they send a message to your cell and then with that code you can register. that way they make sure you only have one account

Reply:You can only get a gmail account by invitation. Google invited some people early on, but anyone with a GMail account can invite up to 100 other people.
Reply:To open an account in gmail (google) you need an invitation from an existing member of Gmail. You cannot get your account without that invitation.
