I added my yahoo account to my gmail account and all the yahoo mail then got transferred to gmail. That's not what I wanted to do. How do I get all the mail back to my yahoo mail account?

I think you can only do forwarding if you have Yahoo Mail Plus.
At the upper right hand you will see Options, then click Mail Options then click POP and Forwarding. You will likely see on that page the gmail address you set up for forwarding.
