It's a private club. Someone has to invite you.

Reply:You can only get one if someone invites you. However, everyone that has gmail usually has like 100 invites, so just ask anyone you know that has gmail and they ought to be happy to invite you.
Reply:somebody must first email you an invitation to open a gmail account. in the email will be a link. if you click on it there will be a sign-up form. fill out the information and you will get an account! i know, it sucks. i've been waiting for two years for someone to give me an invitation. my friend allison finally did a week ago. you automatically get invitations when you sign up.





what Blondie said is very untrue. if someone with 100 invitations invites someone else, that newly invited person will get around 75 invitations to start out with. if that person invites someone else, they will get maybe 60 invitations. i started out with two.





what the people who answered right after me said is also untrue. that link is no more. you must be invited because gmail is a test sort of thing. google wanted to know what would happen if you got an unlimited amount of space in your email account.

Reply:you have to be invited by someone who already has a gmail account.......they would have to send you an email, trust me my sister invited me.
Reply:I myself have gmail, and all you need to do is either go to Google's home site and either click on more and then even more, and find Gmail where you can sign up, or go directly to gmail.google.com and there you can sign up for an account there too. It's really easy to use and convenient too! Good luck!

click on the link that says sign up for gmail using ur mobile phone...then follow directions...it'll ask you for a valid phone #, then it'll send you a code via a text message...go to a different website, then enter the code they texted you, and that's it...you are a new member of gmail...
